Aston Waikiki Beach Tower, Honolulu

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the service was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was superb with beach access, the dated rooms were noisy due to traffic and construction.

Staying on the 9th and 10th floors, the hotel’s rooms, although a bit dated, included everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The rooms are wonderful and clean, but the wind can get quite strong outside. The service was excellent with helpful staff who even provided thoughtful gifts for our children. The location is perfect, right across from the beach, offering a lovely view, although it can get windy like a wind tunnel due to the high rises nearby. Dining options offer Neapolitan pizza. Overall, a great value for money experience with friendly service.

I arrived at the hotel feeling jetlagged but excited to check into my room. The property is quite high, giving it a unique charm, with the convenience of having a kitchen inside. However, the rooms could use some updates, but they were still comfortable overall.

The Oceanfront room offered us a great view and plenty of space at about 1200 square feet. The staff went above and beyond, even surprising our kids with gifts. The location, right across from Waikiki beach, was excellent, but it can get very windy due to the high rises. Overall, a fantastic stay with a few minor drawbacks.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms were spectacular, offering amazing views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the high floors, along with the convenience of having a kitchen. The service was top-notch, with very helpful and friendly staff who even did quick fixes when needed. The location was wonderful, right across the street from Waikiki beach and within walking distance of everything you need. However, it does get quite windy due to the tall buildings nearby. The dining experience was pleasant, with delicious marmalade, and the facilities were well-equipped.
